2009 Chillies Pan Mee @ Super Kitchen, Chow Yang SS2

Had chillies pan mee @ Chow Yang, SS2 (surely taste much better than Face2Face's pan mee)
Seems like they are also adopting the Face2Face strategy of mushrooming all of PJ. They are available in Kota Damansara, Subang Taipan Area and now in Chow Yang...aint it awesome when you dont have to drive all the way to chow kit area for a nice lil chillies pan mee :o)

I normally prefer the Kin Kee (the original one) pan mee but i have to say, this one @ Chow Yang is pretty darn good

Lat Chiu Pan Mee - the egg yolk is just nice and i like to poke the yolk to mix with the chilies to create even a more powerful aroma...

2009 Dessert @ Tim Pun Ko Ko, SS2

Tin Pun Ko Ko, opened up in SS2 couple of months ago, providing sweetooth like me a place for some decent desserts :)

Some of the desserts I ordered in my couple of trips there

Tong yuen - the skins of the tong yuen is lil thick, but all in all, pretty ok
Quail eggs with white fungus
Black sesame with tong yuen
Watermelon with sago & santan - doesnt gimme the expected kick. I think sago honeydew would be a better combo :(
Kueh red bean - not bad
Peanut
Almond with black sesame
Taro (Yam) with tong yuen - i like :)
Water chestnut with egg - some like it, some didnt
Fu juk yee mai - so so saja
Steamed milk with papaya
Mountain water tau fu fa - not bad, HK style tou fu fa but definitely the one in Ipoh is much better
Mango roll - average. Maybe i am comparing with Hui Lau Shan of HK, that's why

2009 Dinner @ Ying Ker Lou, Pavillion

Instead of playing golf, we went to J&R for breakie and then to Summit for Adidas (which I am proud to say that I didnt buy a thing) and then proceed to happy hours in Pavillion. After happy hours, we decided to eat hakka dishes and Ying Ker Lou it is :)

I have passed by this restaurant many times, never considered them as they seem to be packed in The Curve irregardless of the time

Hakka stir fried eggplant, green bean & bitter gourd
Steam minced pork with pickle
Crispy pork belly

Chicken soup with herbs

2009 Breakfast @ Jarrod & Rawlins, Desa Sri Hartamas

Been to Jarrod & Rawlins @ Desa Sri Hartamas a couple of times for dinner & breakfasts too. It's a place famous for sausages and bacon and ham (kua). Basically it's a pork heaven la...

The ambience
The freebies that comes with the meal (free breads and orange juice and coffee or tea)

My long awaited egg benedict (RM28) (Its a dish that consists of a half of an english muffin, topped with either ham or bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce). My first experience with egg benedict was in Michigan way back in 1996. Ever since then, I been dying to eat it again (I ate it once when i went to Schaumburg in 2007)

The breakfast meal consists of a sausage, 2 eggs, 1 strip of bacon and 1 hashbrown (RM28)
The workx consists of breakfast meal and red beans (RM32)

J&R is kinda pricey for daily breakfast, but for an once a while indulgence, it's ok ;)

2009 Chillies Pan Mee @ Face2Face, PJ New Town

Was to work on Saturday for a new segment rollout for HK. Went for a quick lunchie @ Face2Face, PJ New Town (nearby old thrifty). Face2Face first surfaced in Damansara Perdana and it's been mushrooming in quite a few more places since then

Here's what I ordered...

Lat Chiu Pan Mee - the egg yolk is too masak tho, not so nice as I cannot mix the egg yolk with the chilies...

Sarawak ABC - this is lili no good neh. No taste at all :(

2009 Project Dinner @ Cinnamon, OneWorld Hotel

Our SG management decided to give the project team a big dinner and I was handed the task to decide on where and what to eat on 1 lil catch, it must be within a RMXXX budget :)

Since I alwayz place ambience on a higher priority for official company outing, i decided on Cinnamon @ OneWorld Hotel

For RM85 a pax, it comes with decent variety of spread like International, Malay, Chinese, Indian & Japanese as well.

One thing to complain tho, they only serve water

Check out the food available in Cinnamon ;)

The gang jollying & dancing on the floor...basically turning the section upside-down

2009 GSSC KL Annual Dinner @ KLCCC

October 31st 2009 was my 1st time to GSSC Annual Dinner even tho I joined them early in 2008 (missed this event last year due to the overwhelming response and my 'heart attack') It's probably the 2nd biggest Annual Dinner I ever been after IBMs :)

GSSC's theme this year was 'Lost in Venice' (hence you will see lotsa chicks with masquerades tho I didnt capture much of them as I am pretty low profile in this company ^.^)

The decor was pretty soothing, nice blue coloring for photoshooting, so i was kinda happy that i brought my D80 to shoot some pretty chicks ;)

Now about the food. One word. Disappointing. Never had that bad a food for annual dinner in my working career :( Dishes were cold and with 'farnee' tastes. OMFG
I have no mood to name each dishes as it gives me horror

So, me and my teammates mostly hang around with ourselves

I got lucky with number 132. I got a thermal pot :)

2009 Lunchie @ Restoran Paramount Garden

This place sells lou pan mee (similar to those hokkien loh mee + vinegar). It comes with spinach & carrot flavour pan mee. Very popular with employees around the area. Reach before 12.30pm else it will be packed ;)
